Good evening everybody, what I always use in my classroom in terms of comunicative language teaching, is to encourage students to think about different examples, using our Colombian context into the topics we discuss. I call it "Colombia-nize" because sometimes the examples presented in the books aren't related to students contexts or daily experiences, that's why I try to make them practice using Colombian situations, contexts or vocabulary that they can find more meaningful for learning, in this sense they give a real function to communication and don't see it as something far to use.
